This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the ways you contact us.

The information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on our website, call, text or email us, we collect what you provide. Depending on how you reach us, that can include your name and a company name if you are enquiring as a business, the name of a contact person if different from you, your email address and phone number, the address of the property the work relates to, a description of the work you are considering and the type of work, how you heard about us, photographs of the space if you choose to send them, and anything else you include in a message to us.

Information from calls and messages. We keep records of calls, text messages and emails with you so we have an accurate account of what was discussed and agreed. Calls to and from our business line may be recorded or transcribed.

Information collected automatically. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which sets cookies necessary to operate the site, keep it secure and understand basic traffic patterns. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated abuse, which collects device and usage information under Google’s own privacy policy.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to interpret those signals, and our website does not respond to them.

Tracking across other websites

We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your activity across different websites through our site. We do not run advertising networks, advertising pixels or analytics trackers on it.

How we use your information

We use it to reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a consultation, plan and deliver work you engage us for, keep proper records of projects and communications, and meet our legal, tax, insurance and contractor-licensing obligations.

Calls, texts and emails

If you give us your phone number, we may contact you about your enquiry and your project by phone, text message and email at the number and address you provide, including by automated means. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive messages is not a condition of hiring us. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the details above.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

We share it with a small number of service providers who handle it on our behalf so we can run the business. The categories are our project management and estimating system, our website and online forms provider, our phone and messaging provider, our email and document provider, and our payment and invoicing provider. They are permitted to use your information only to provide those services to us.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, or where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Photographs of your property

If we would like to use photographs of your project in our portfolio, on our website or on social media, we will ask you first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project records for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax, insurance and licensing obligations, and then we delete or archive them.

Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who within the business can access it and using established providers to store it. No method of storing or transmitting information over the internet is completely secure.

Reviewing and changing your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

Our website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
